About the event
Come join The Pink Potato Club and get creative for this 1hr 30 min art club special!
We will be exploring the artist Wassily Kandinsky, taking a look at his most famous paintings, discussing what we see, what colours he used and what we like or don't like about the artist. We will get to know the artist even more during our short story as well as learning 3 facts about him (to impress the grown ups)
The potatoes with have a chance to explore the artist in more detail with a mini creative sheet surrounding Kandinsky's famous circle paintings.
The rest of the workshop will give the potatoes an opportunity to explore a new way of mark making, creating lots of colourful circles using different medias. Lastly they will add their creativity to make their own kandinsky inspired snails to take home.
